The event, titled 'Midori Art Park Comedy Show: Koraku Mandou Parent-Child Meeting', will be held at the Midori Art Park in Yokohama. Koraku Sanyutei, born on August 6, 1946, in Tokyo, is a well-known rakugo performer. He became an apprentice of the late Hayashiya Shōzō and later joined the Sanyutei Enraku school after the passing of his master. He is known for his unique storytelling style and has been a regular member of the popular TV show 'Shōten' since 1981.

In addition to his rakugo performances, he has also been actively involved in various activities, such as delivering lectures and collaborating with the New York Symphonic Ensemble in a rakugo-style opera performance of Mozart's 'The Magic Flute'.

Mandou Kinshotei, born on December 31, 1983, in Tokyo, started his career as a comedian under the stage name Suetaka Tomu. He later became a rakugo performer and joined the Sanyutei Koraku school in 2011.

He has gained popularity for his unique and unconventional performances, such as 'flying rakugo' where he appears suspended in mid-air. He has also held his own solo shows, incorporating ninja comedy and magic shows.

The event is organized by Midori Art & Media Partners, which is responsible for the management and operation of Midori Art Park in Yokohama.

Midori Art Park is the only cultural facility in the Midori Ward that aims to create bonds between people through culture and art. The event will be held on May 25, 2024, at the Midori Art Park in Yokohama, and tickets are available for purchase on the Confetti website.
