Smappa! Group focuses on providing professional services that cater to the emotions of each individual customer and promoting cultural activities to enhance their knowledge and skills.

As a precursor to their plan to open a poetry bar in Kabukicho, they will be operating 'Snack Hamayu' in the contemporary art space 'Decameron' with poet Ayumi Uesaka. The aim is to create a new space for people to interact and connect with each other.

Here are the details of Snack Hamayu in Decameron:

Snack Hamayu is not your typical snack bar. It was previously held 12 times at the art space 'Muju Session' in Nihonbashi. The name 'Hamayu' is derived from one of Ayumi Uesaka's tanka poems, which is included in her poetry collection 'I Want to Be Popular Enough to Die in a Nursing Home.

'

Ayumi Uesaka is a poet and essayist born in 1991 in Shizuoka Prefecture and currently based in Tokyo. She published her first poetry collection 'I Want to Be Popular Enough to Die in a Nursing Home' in February 2022. She has also made numerous media appearances, including being a solo personality on the radio show 'All Night Nippon 0.

'

Decameron is an art space located in the heart of Kabukicho, Shinjuku, which was established in 2020. It focuses on the theme of language recognition and selects conceptual artworks. Since 2021, it has been reevaluating the significance of exhibiting artworks in Kabukicho with the themes of 'moral' and 'ethics.

' The space also features a bar on the 1st floor to enhance interactivity and dialogue before and after viewing the artworks.
