At the prestigious World Gin Awards 2024 held in London, Nozawa Onsen Distillery's four types of gin received awards. The distillery's excellence and innovative approach were recognized, solidifying its position in the world. In particular, NOZAWA GIN, representing Nozawa Onsen Distillery, won the Gold and Best in Country awards in the London Dry Gin category.

Additionally, SHISO GIN was awarded the Gold and named the best in Japan in the Flavored Gin category. In the highly competitive Contemporary Gin category, CLASSIC DRY GIN won the Gold award, and IWAI GIN received the Bronze award.

Nozawa Onsen Distillery opened in December 2022, after renovating a former canned food factory. It is located in the heart of the village, just a few minutes' walk from the communal bathhouse 'Daiyu,' which is a symbol of Nozawa Onsen.
